My Beauty Favorites (from 2014)
Hi ladies! I’ve had so many questions on my favorite make-up products, so I decided to finally share them with you. I also threw in my favorite skin care products because I just had to share. I live by these products and use them daily.
My make up is very simple and perfect for everyday wear. Some ladies wear eyeshadow and liner every day but instead of focusing on my eyes lately, I’ve been focusing on lips. I start with product 1 (M.A.C. Pro Longwear Concealer) I don’t use foundation which is surprising to many people, but I just don’t find it necessary, and it used to clog my pores majorly. After I use my concealer, I move on to product 2 (M.A.C. Studio Fix Mineral Powder) to finish off my face and give it a matte look. I put my blush on next, and although I wear bronzer in the summer, in the Fall I love to wear a pink-ish/berry hue to go with all of my wine colored lipstick. I included one of my favorite colors above, product 3 (M.A.C. Mineral Blush) it’s not too heavy, and is the perfect Fall shade. Products 4 and 5 are are two of my favorite lip shades my M.A.C. I also wear many Clinique shades, so if you need a recommendation in Clinique, Maybelline, or Revlon, let me know in the comments! I LOVE lipstick and wear it with almost every outfit, even if it’s just a nude color.
As for face care, I live by Dermalogica. I start with Product 6 (Neutrogena make-up remover wipes)to remove my makeup, then cleanse my face with Product 7 (Dermalogica Special Cleansing gel). After, I use Product 8 (Dermalogica toner) which is amazing. I don’t have super oily skin, but the toner drys it out enough so that I can moisturize comfortably. Lastly, I use my favorite moisturizer, Product 9 (Dermalogica Active Moist). I had constant breakouts up until I started using Dermalogica, and now my skin is so amazing- sometimes I go makeup free on the weekends!
The reason I included the J.B. Lashes logo above is because I wear J.B. lash extensions. I get them done once a month, and I do not wear ANY eye make-up – no mascara, eyeliner, nothing… If you look at some of my recent pictures you won’t be able to tell that my lashes are extensions, because they’re so natural looking, but I assure you they are. If you’re local, and want the name of my esthetician, let me know- she is AMAZING. Also, if you’re on the fence about lash extensions, I’d love to chat with you about them, just so you can get any questions answered- I’ll tell you the absolute and honest truth, as none of this is an advertisement! haha. You can email me any time! Hopefully this post answers your questions 😉
