As a stay-at-home mom, I wear some form of an athleisure look every day. In the winter, it’s rough when I feel like I get in a rut of wearing the same things over and over. Here’s my easy, foolproof way to feel “cute” when it’s super chilly outside! Keep reading to see where the items in this easy winter athleisure outfit are from!
An Easy Winter Athleisure Outfit
When I put together this outfit, I chose my color palate first, by picking the leggings I’d wear. I bought the lululemon ‘align’ pant a few years back when I was still shopping fast fashion. I have to admit, I do really love the fit of these, and have since scoured poshmark for more in my size. I try to by lululemon secondhand when I can. If you’re looking to shop sustainably, Athleta is a wonderful ethical athletic wear option! Anyway, so I chose the color of leggings, then I decided on my grey Parks Project sweatshirt. If you haven’t heard of Parks Project, check it out! They have adorable National Park themed sweatshirts, t-shirts and other gear to help support our nation’s National Parks! I personally love their designs.
Next, instead of a coat, I opted for a vest. I found this one from lululemon secondhand on ebay. It came gently used, but it’s a piece I know I’ll wear for years to come. I chose the classic color black so that it’d match with everything I own. And it truly does! I wear it often! Finally, it is very wet here this time of year, and my original refined Hunter boots are a trusty old friend. I’ve had this particular pair in black for over three years, and they’re like new still. I wear them on hikes, family adventures, and just to run errands going to and from the car in the wet weather. If you’re interested in learning more about my review of the original Hunter boot and the original refined Hunter boot (my favorite), you can read that here!
A Word About My Fjallraven Hip Pack
This hip pack is quite possibly the best $50 I’ve every spent. It’s something that I adjust to wear as a crossbody, and I can adjust to wear around my waist when I wear my 20 month old in the carrier. I chose black (I know, surprising, right?) because it truly goes with everything I own. But they have an adorable mustard or olive green color I’ve been eyeing too!
