Today I’m sharing an outfit that features one of my favorite colors! Camel! Or as Babaá calls it, Arcilla. I love this color because it’s a true neutral. It goes with everything. I’m styling this cozy wool sweater with a pair of jeans I’ve had in my closet for over two years. Keep reading to see my winter outfit and the Babaá No. 17 Jumper.
Winter Outfit | Babaá No. 17 Jumper
I’m going to be honest. I get dressed in my jeans or skirts maybe 1 to two times a week. Other than that I’m wearing leggings. Mostly because I work out a few mornings a week, and the other days I spend hiking with my kids. This doesn’t lend itself to glamorous clothing, but instead functional (and warm!) clothing is what I reach for most. Enter this Babaá sweater. I styled the Babaá No. 18 cardigan on the blog almost three years ago here, but when I saw that they came out with a turtleneck style, I had to check it out.
This jumper is a “one-size fits all” jumper, so I was pretty skeptical of it. I am five feet tall, seven inches, for reference! However, I’m pleasantly surprised at how well it lays. I love that the shoulders have a drop-hem, making it look and feel very oversized and cozy. The sleeves are long enough (for me at least) that I can roll them or leave them unrolled to keep my hands warm and the turtle neck can be rolled in or out for a less dramatic look. When we were hiking the other day, I rolled the collar all the way up and tucked my hair into it. I felt pretty chic in the forest, but mostly, it functioned as a face warmer. Win win!

Initially I tried on boots with this outfit, but with the bulky sweater up top, I knew I wanted some skinny, pointed toe shoes to offset the bulkiness. I also opted for skinny jeans versus a straight leg jean. I love how the camel color looks against blue, but it would look wonderful with black on bottom as well! Lastly, the pattern on the shoes are a fun play on the camel color with the different shades of brown. What do you think? How would you style this sweater?
I hope you enjoyed this winter outfit and post about the Babaá No.17 jumper. If you’re on the market for a new sweater, this brand seems to hold up extremely well!
